A century from establishment of formal art education in Iran, the first university painting course ages up to almost 60 years. All through this period, the art education foundation of Iran has gained considerable amount of experience and potentiality. Many experienced instructors have been working hard in various educational centers and active workshops have been constantly training artists .All these efforts have brought about the existence of several generations of distinguished artists that have been highly admired both nationally and internationally by people of all classes.

However during the aforementioned period art education programming due to lack of retrospection has not only stayed behind the international developments and changes, but has also lost the opportunity to improve its shortcomings and deficits.  These complications along with dispersion of the best art scientific and theoretical instructors are the main causes of quality subsidence and decrease of educational fruition in most universities and academic institutes of this field.

Now, Mahe Mehr Artistic, Cultural Institute, established by the managers of Aria, Elaheh and Vali art exhibition galleries is intending to focus all it’s vast and variable efforts on professional and advanced art education as well as qualified presentation of artworks of Iranian outstanding artists. In this manner, Mahe Mehr will provoke the evolutionary cycle of artist training and creation of art works in Iran to be more powerful, dynamic and competent
